Menlo College is known as one of the premier business schools of Silicon Valley. Menlo College was founded in 1927 as an all-men's college, It expanded in 1948 when it established the School of Business Administration in the wake of Stanford University's discontinued business program. By 1986, Menlo had developed full four-year programs in Letters and Sciences and had become a coeducational institution. Reorganization of the college began again in 1994, and by 2008 Menlo College had reestablished itself as a unique business college.
